help others who can't help themselves

I love to do things for other people. I love making quilts (when I have time) and blankets to give to the kids under the care of the courts. I would like to have more time to help those that need something done around the house or just go shopping for them. The best is doing for others when they don’t know who’s caring for them. My daughter and I have a Christmas tradition that is actually my husband’s present. When she is home for Thanksgiving break, she and I go to WalMart and buy all kinds of toys for the girls and boys that we don’t even know. Things from baby dolls to blocks, hotwheels cars to jacks. A group from a local church comes by on a Sat. morning to collect the boxes so that these kids can have a good Christmas.
