I'm doing this!

Although I’ve read it takes, on average, six to nine years for a person to become fluent in a language, I’m trying my best.

It definitely helps to live in the country, to be surrounded by your lingual obsession. To think in the language, to the point where you wish that those every day phrases had the same power in your mother tongue.

Language is a lifelong process. I don’t think I’ll ever be done. I just never want my language skills to diminish.
