the news are too excellent from the boot:
the system is crumbling to pieces!
very small pieces, actually
tiny invisible suave poudre
people are celebrating in the squares
without nobody summoning them,
because they want to be together
to feel that sense has been regained
to share the relief
it’s the end of our PM
the beginning of the end
and my heart laughs and laughs
I celebrated buying a huge heap of books at Waterstones
and now I wonder whether to ship them
such a perfect day

ok, I’m a very selfish person so I have to admit that my first thought was:
why hasn’t it happened to our PM? To get arrested and accused abroad of sexual crimes never to return?
But then I had to remember that our situation is even worse, because ours is eager to pay for sex and always finds women that are happy with that.
Back to DSK, I am totally appalled by the defences I read on the papers by his fellow intellectuals and friends, is this really France? Where is the country of human rights? I don’t understand. Will there never ever be justice for women? I’m not saying I believe DSK is guilty, but it seems to me one can’t really either be sure he is not right now.

“Breakfast was a success, for my mother was a philosopher. She said very little, but what she did say was magnificent. In her youth she had
moved in literary circles, and now found her daily pleasure in the
works of Schopenhauer, Kant, and other Germans. Her lightest reading
was Sartor Resartus, and occasionally she would drop into Ibsen
and Maeterlinck, the asparagus of her philosophic banquet.”

“Unusual” is different from “impossible”.
Believe in the unusual, be unusual.

We call upon Silvio Berlusconi to resign immediately from his post as Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri. In no other democratic country would a Prime Minister, faced with such serious legal accusations, remain in office longer than a few hours. All Italian citizens, of whatever political persuasion, must realise that the image of their country is profoundly tainted if Berlusconi remains in office.
