as a loyal southern democrat who is fiscally conservative and socially moderate, i feel we need to start focusing on the state and local level to regain control of our country’s direction.

for too long, the gop has led us into a financial disaster; it’s time to regain fiscal sanity and get rid of the ballooning federal debt. our children deserve no less. we deserve no less.
