I’ve slacked off with the regular entries this last six weeks or so and so will not be signing this off as ‘done’ at the end of the month. I want to be writing at least once a week, if not more, because if I don’t the entries just become and list of events from memory rather than insights, feelings and ideas which is what I want to be recording.

I’m still doing this but have got into a bit of a habit of writing on a Sunday evening as I have the most time then, but I think as I want it to be more than a weekly re-cap I am going to pick a day this week, say Wednesday and make time to write then to have a bit more of a ‘write whatever I happening to be thinking at the time’ sort of structure.

I’ll keep the goal here as a reminder until the end of the year (for want of a better deadline, lol) and then if I’ve kept up to two to three times a week I will count this as done.

I’ve got into quite a good habit with this. Have wrote an entry every two/three days since I started.

I’ve been thinking about doing this for a while now. I used to keep a diary but felt I had to write something every day and so ended up feeling like it was a chore.

However, I was reading back over my old diaries the other day and I realised how much I enjoyed being able to look back and so decided that if I didn’t start journaling I would be disadvantaging my future self.

I’m going to try and write regularly but not feel bound to every day.
