Learn Spanish

Because of a very busy academic schedule this semester, I put away the Spanish Course on CD. But I still make use of my favorite Spanish teacher, the owner of the Mexican restaurant down the street. Plus… A hispanic family just moved next door to me. They do not speak much english. Here’s my chance…. =)

I was getting frustrated by the course I checked out from the library. But now I finally read the “How to use this course” section of the book. Oh, so that’s what the other disks are for… Duh.

I learned to make homemade Salsa Verde this week. Oh… And a mexican waiter hit on me. But I guess that doesn’t really count towards advancing this goal. I really do want to learn but am not so sure how best to go about it.

Books on tape don’t work. I’ve tried Telemundo with closed captions but that’s not for me either. I guess I’ll figure it out eventually.
