Take more pictures

Why? Because they amuse me. From my Disneyland trip.

This Michael and Francis Higgins piece, a gift from my aunt, comes from my late uncle’s art studio. I spent time working side-by-side with him as a child, and it was only much later that I realized how significant it was that I was allowed in his studio. My uncle and his artist friends would often trade their “seconds” with each other, and this is one such example.

One lesson I’ve learned from my cats: sometimes all you need to make your day better is a good stretch!

Yes, thanks to Sebastian’s most helpful advice, I was able to accelerate my research and feel comfortable purchasing a new digital camera. I bought a Casio Exilim, for those interested, because I wanted a subcompact, low-pressure camera.

I have yet to really play with it, that’s how new it is, but I’m very pleased with how sleek and portable it is. When I head out of town this weekend, I’ll have my first real opportunity to test it out. Whoo-hoo!
