I’ve written in my gratitude journal every night, and it really feels great to think about the day, and what things, no matter how small, one is grateful for. The other night I was reading and heard some geese honking, getting ready to land near our house. It put a big smile on my face, and I thought, “I need to write that in my journal!” Too often we overlook the beauty of the natural world.

Last night I started a Gratitude Journal. It felt so good to write down just a few things that I was grateful for. Some are things I’m grateful for every day, like my fantastic husband; some were just for the day, like the red wine and cheese I was eating at the time. I think this is a great way to open one’s heart.



Practice, and Express, Gratitude 3 years ago

It’s easy to forget the wonderful things in our lives, or to take them for granted. I want to end each day by thinking of the things in my life that I’m grateful for that day. Sounds easy. I know that this will make me a better person.
