take my daughter to Disney World

take her to Disney this next summer. I think I’m going to have a big tax refund, fingers crossed.

is to take her next summer after my first year of teaching (and her first grade year). I think that would be a good age, I really want to take her while it will still be so magical to her. This kind of trip is something that I would have only dreamed of when I was little, and I really want to do it for her. Hopefully I can save up money to go after school is out in Summer 2010!
Lets see… how much does it cost? I’ll estimate around $2000 for the 2 of us. Soooo… I’ll need to save around $160 per month OR be sure and not have anything planned for the child support money when it comes (IF it comes…) in May. It’s around $1800 for the back pay for the entire year (sad, right?) that gets held out of his taxes because he doesn’t pay monthly. Anyway, that would cover a large chunk of the cost. The only thing is that I only get it if he has a refund that big, and to get a refund he’d have to have a job, which I don’t think he does.
Hmmmmmmm. Welp I guess I should plan to save that $160/month just in case, eh?
