Half way...

I’m excited, almost half way to go. Yes, it’s taken some time and there were set backs, but all that matters is today I am 9.5 pounds lighter than when I originally started this goal. My specific goal was to lose 20 pounds before September 1st. Since I have 10.5 more to go, I need to amend that to 20 pounds before October 1st. I just started swimming again and if I can swim 2-3 days a week, do pilates and yoga a few days a week, I’m confident I can reach my goal by October 1st, hopefully sooner!



new gym = new hope

So I finally joined a gym again…and most importantly, I go to it! I was so excited to get on the scale this morning because I’ve been working out a lot and then I find that my scale is out of batteries!!! Seriously! So I went to the mall to get more batteries and ended up buying everything but! So I guess my next entry I will have an update of weight – when I get batteries! I did some measurements though and I’ve lost inches, so that is good! I have about a month or so before I promised myself I would get to my goal of losing 20 pounds. I actually think I can do it!



Weight Tracker

I guess I should have written what weight I started at exactly! That would help – right! I started at 174 and am now down to 169.5. Pretty good and looking to be on target. Like I said before, the first 20 are so important but it’s after that I need to keep going. When I get down to 154, I will have 24 more pounds to go before I reach my goal. I’ve started doing yoga and pilates and walking more and I really enjoy those activities. Yoga is really challenging, but an amazing workout!

2 pounds down, 18 to go! Honestly I’m hoping to lose this 20 pounds by the middle of August so that I can get started on the next 20 ASAP. I have a total of about 45 pounds I want to lose total. I always seem to lose the first 20 and then I feel good, look good, start going out, miss a workout, eat more than I should “just once” and the next thing I know I’ve gained 5, 10, 15 pounds back. When I lose the first 20 I need to look back at this entry. I am tired of losing the same 20 pounds, it’s time to move past that and learn how to accomplish my goals while also having fun.
