My credit score, which I had decimated in my mid-late 20’s has finally been pretty much restored. As of this week I have a 699, which is one point away from an A+ rating. Something that is easily attainable. I also currently have no revolving credit, only a car lease and rent payment. It’s tight, but I can live within my means now, and that is so worth it. The rebuilding continues.

I’m about 18 months away from being (relatively) debt free. That may sound like a long time to you, but this has been 4+ years in the making and now I can see light. I’ve done it with the help of a scrupulous debt assistance company and the moral support of loved ones. So it’s a collective victory. But I can’t wait to put this thing in my “Things I’ve Done” category.
