sing out loud

Despite my concerns about hitting the right key and the pitch of my voice wavering, I sang two songs with a family band last weekend. While I probably won’t be winning American Idol anytime soon, I did hit the songs mostly right and more importantly overcame my issues with singing, out loud, into a microphone, in front of a crowd.

I sing out loud all the time. What I want to accomplish is singing really well. On key, perfectly pitched and with a soulfulness and sincerity that will move those listening.
