write better

Right now I write the way I speak. Therefore even though the grammar is shaky, people who know me like the way I write as they can hear the words in my voice. Unfortunately, people who don’t know me and read my stuff often ascribe a mood or attitude that wasn’t intended. Sometimes a gentle jibe or hyperbolic humor can be taken as mean spirited or insane. So I want to be able to write in a voice that transcends that but keeps the element of my own style.
