Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

And He said,
%{color:red}”Cast your burdens upon me,
Those who are heavily laden
Come to me all of you who are tired
Of carrying heavy loads
For the yoke I will give you is easy
And My burden is light
Come to Me and I will give you rest.”%

i just want to post this here. because i strongly believe that this is true. WHenever I feel down, I turn to God and He comforts me till i feel no more pain. He allows me to cry in His shoulder and seek refuge in Him. He comforts me like the way moms comfort their crying babies. In Him, I feel secure, free, and painless..i feel His LOVE – so pure and gentle. He never fails to comfort me.

Sometimes, I am ashamed of myself for disobeying Him. I have offended Him so many times. I have disgraced my being and walked away in darkness. I was alone.and lost. I cried for help.no one came, they have all neglected me. yet He searched for me. he has never abandoned me, in fact. WHen he has found me He carried me on his shoulders and he rejoiced.“Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.” I felt His love throughout my being. I felt cleansed and forgiven. His Love restored my failing spirit.

I have experienced God’s forgiveness and love.

I don’t want to be like the fig tree that bears no fruit. I want to be of use to God, my Master. Now that I am reading the Bible, may I live in accord to God’s every word and be of greater use to HIM. so help me GOD. Now, I don’t want to offend HIM in anyway. I will be loyal to HIM all my life for I belong only to Him.I live only for Him and I will die only for HIM.

I have finally started reading the Bible. Just last month..I read that it is better if I should start with the New testament. So i started with Matthew. And now I am reading Mark..Too long way to go. it’s definitely worth reading.

The Bible teaches us the Word of God – to lead us to the right path.
