Get back with my ex

it really didnt work, we just realised it wasnt the same, wouldnt be and just wasnt good enough to be honest so we ended it [again]. but different people different outcomes :]
we are friends though now so thats good.

my ex knows i want to get back with him but he told me to fight for him.. i mean what does he expect me to do hes with somebody hes liked for longer than he liked me and i expect he likes and liked more than me. I don’t want to fight for him but i dont think hes just going to take me back. I really have no idea what to do. I’ve told him how i feel and he told me to fight.
I can’t help but feel well, shit tbh.
