I’ll post a picture soon, but Carlsbad was amazing! We saw the King;s Palace and took a lantern-light tour of Left-hand Tunnel. We also walked down the Natural Entrance and walked all the way through the Big Room as it was closing so we were almost alone in that huge, beautiful space. Unbelievable.

Hiked around Petroglyph National Monument today. It was a grey day, but the actual petroglyphs were fabulous and hiking around the mesa was really nice. Good to have gone with my goofball friend, as well.
This year I’m more stuck in my homestate than I’ve been in a long time. Stuck? No, given the opportunity to explore this beautiful land!
