talk to him

Well, I went over to his farm again, the first time was about two years ago. Since I’m in school to be a vet tech, and they own a cattle farm, his father has been wonderful in trying to show me some of the things I might need to know when I go into my Large Animal Nursing class next semester. I was on spring break, but he was still at school when I was there, so no luck in talking to him. I got to see him at church today though, but I didn’t say anything to him. I consider it a gain though, because I got to get on his dad’s good side even more, so maybe someday he’ll notice me. =]

Since I first noticed him. I’ve never really talked to him in person, though our families are friends. I don’t know how to say all of this without seeming crazy. I mean, I’ve dated other guys in the past two years and haven’t been actively pursuing him or anything, but I decided back then that, God-willing, I will marry him. He has been raised right and as far as I can tell, has all the qualities I want in a man. However, I can’t make it my goal to marry him without first talking to him. Just talk to him, have a regular conversation about nothing special. I’m in school to be a vet tech, and they are cattle farmers; his dad offered to let me come watch the calves being born while I’m home on spring break, which is three weeks away. I’m hoping he’ll be home on break then and I may be able to chat with him then. We’ll see. I’m in it for the long haul.
