pay off credit cards

It’s better than it was the last time I made an entry, but worse than it was a week ago. I suddenly needed to get entirely new brakes on my car. YIKES!!

I have a new goal…one that I feel certain I can accomplish. In April it will be 2 years of trying to pay down my 15K of debt. By the last day of April, I will have paid the entire debt off my cards.

Ok, so after 4 months of unemployment I am FINALLY back to work! A vacation is not a vacation unless you have a job waiting at the other end.

So, thankfully, I was able to barely make ends meet for those 4 months without throwing thousands of dollars of debt onto my cards. I did have to take my first cash advance on a credit card, which is the equivalent of the cc company having you by the balls!

The good news is that my total bad debt (car and mortgage not included) is only $7607, approx $600 more than it was earlier this summer. I’m going to check back in here twice a month and my goal is to have the debt down to $4000 by the end of October.

Wish me luck. I know I can do it. So can all of you!!

I have been stalled on this goal for a while now. Within a year I paid approx $6500 off my debt. Currently though, I can’t make any progress because I have not had work since April. I managed to pay $1000 off my card with my tax rebate but I have slowly eaten away at that and am back to where I was 2 months ago…about $7000 on my credit card. I’m not giving up. I’m just going to try to make ends meet until I find work. The best thing that I can do is to continue to not use the card and focus on my end goal. I

I think that the last time I wrote was a few months ago and I’ve only paid off a few hundred since then…

It’s been 3 months since I have written. I am happy to report that I have not slipped in my goal. I am getting my debt under control one penny at a time. My new total credit card debt is: $7667.

I”m giving myself a goal of July to be totally paid off. I’m hoping that I finish paying off the cards well before then.

I’ve been slowly paying off my serious credit card debt and I’m proud to report that in the last month I paid off $2000!!

I’m paying as much as I can every month and I love seeing the progress. My total bad debt is now at: 9091.30. I’ve paid off almost $6000 off the cards.

I finally have reached the goal that I’ve been working on for months. My credit cards are under 10K in debt!!

I’m making progress slowly. My total debt was just under 15K when I started this and now I am at $10,523.59.
