find a cure for breast cancer

my sister had the double masctomy on Friday, they found no cancer in the lymph nodes, so that was the positive in this horrible ordeal. Now she is home and having a difficult time she had reconstructive surgery and so they used fat from her stomach so she is in alot of pain. anyone going thru breast cancer my thoughts and prayers are with you. They need to find a cure for this horrible disease.

My sister is done with all of her tests, which is good for her they are long & some are scary. But now is the worst she has so much ahead of her. She has to have a double mascetomy, then chemo. She is handeling herself so well, I feel more of a mess then she is, I would never show it to her. Please pray for her my fellow 43things friends, just that she will come thru this ok & not be in too much pain. Thank you

I went today with my sister, for a full body scan to make sure the cancer is just in her breast. Thank god it is. I wish I could take some of her pain, and just being mad at the world away. Please pray for her. she is only 47 and this is a second time dealing with breast cancer. She has been through so much

I really need to vent on this one, My sister has just had a second episode with this horrible disese. Now she has to go thru it all over again, but this time losing her breasts. I just can’t belive in this day & age we can’t find a cure for cancer.
My dream would be to find a cure for her and all the women & men that have to suffer with this, but I know I could never accomplish that, I’m having a hard time with walking my dog everyday.
But I can go on Breast cancer walks, donate, and just spread the word and urge people to be more aware of this disease, Don’t be ashamed, stand tall and know you will get thru this. Just like my sister will.
