After a week of pulling up my pants every five minutes, I dug out a smaller pair of pants out of my closet (doesn’t every woman have several sizes of clothes?). I have clearly dropped a size and my partner has noticed my bottom half is smaller. So why can’t I bring myself to step on the scale? Why does that mechanical (well, technically mine is digital) have so much power over me?
dolphinlady has written 10 entries about this goal
I have lost 7 pounds and that included the holidays. Quite a feat for me. I feel so much better and have more energy. It is very possible that I will be able to drop my dosage of thyroid medicine.
Hypnosis as some other good side effects. I have gotten rid of some strange phobias that I have had since childhood.
I had my first hypnosis session today. I made my goal 60 pounds to make a total commitment to regain my health.
At my first meal post-hypnosis, I stopped eating with half my salad left on my plate. I actually hear myself say “Enough.” And it is now 3 hours later and I’m completely satisfied.
On Tuesday, I have my first hypnosis appointment to “reprogram” my brain (subconscious) and help me lose weight. I need willpower and motivation. I need lots of help. I hope the standard hypnosis will help but if it is not enough, I will try past-life regression. Even following diets to a T and exercising does not help me.
No matter what I do, weight loss is super slow. I have only been on thyroid medicine for a year and I don’t think I take enough. So I have to be patient to lose whatever I can – even if it is just half a pound.
I’ve lost 8 pounds now. It is getting easier and all the stomach crunches are starting to make a visual difference.
I lost another pound and ordered my rings. I’m ready to lose this weight. Now I have to exercise so I’ll be tone too.
Strange but true. I lost the 5 pounds during the holidays after I bought a magnetic bracelet. Now I’m ready to try the magnets worn on the pinky fingers at night like on this website http://www.alexchui.com/
Update: That didn’t do a thing!
Now that I know that I’m hypothyroid, I want to get on the right dose of Armour so I can get my metabolism working again. Then I can lose weight. Hey, I’ll have the energy to exercise!
I lost over 20 pounds earlier and need to get back on my FatFlush diet so I can lose another 20 pounds.
