One Hour Walk in the Neighborhood  — 1 month ago

Today was a recovery day from yesterday’s arduous workout.

So I took a nice long walk just now. I was lucky that the weather and conditions were absolutely bee-yoo-ti-ful this evening. No mosquitoes! Pretty sunset! Happy people out on bikes, on scooters, and on foot!

Legs & Back  — 1 month ago

Last night was dedicated to Legs & Back. My DH and I did this routine with the P90X series that we have at home.

Not sure exactly what exercise I’ll do tonight, but I’m on a roll now. This feels great!

Challenge!  — 1 month ago

Okay, I turned this into a challenge on my main page, since this is exactly the kind of goal that is suited for a challenge. As you can see, my shoe desires are quite modest (less than $100); there’s no Carrie living in this house.

I’m looking forward to my success!

I almost caved just now. I almost said, “To heck with this goal!” and I almost went into the kitchen to start mindlessly snacking.

But I caught myself.

Fat Burner & Muscle Builder  — 1 month ago

Yesterday at the gym I used three different cardio machines for a total of 60 minutes of low-impact exercise.

This past Sunday I worked out with my DH. We did a P90X routine for our shoulders and arms.

I’m trimming the portion sizes of my meals/snacks and am exercising six days a week.
