I like saying “We’re just getting started!” as a way of looking forward, to avoid dwelling on past mistakes. It’s a way to recognize the lifelong learning that goes on, especially with my husband and me, and the choices we’ve made (some were good, many not so good, but I refuse to let regret pull us down).

I prosper wherever I turn and I know I deserve prosperity of all kinds.
I definitely have prosperity in love and health. I am so fortunate.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I’m going to give the cards from vitalaffirmations.com a break for awhile. Instead, I’m going to repeat two or three of my own affirmations throughout the day. And I’m going to write them on small cards and carry them with me, to look at when I’m feeling down.
I release all fears and feel the stress melt away.
I’m skeptical on this one. I think some fears are healthy and are good motivators.
Today I choose positive loving thoughts that nourish me on all levels.
Yay, I’m no longer going to feel undernourished.
I am a clear thinker and I express myself with ease.
This is perfect. This is exactly what I need at work.
I choose to do something new or look at something in a new way whenever I am stuck.
I’ve had stuck moments recently. I’ve used that very word “stuck” to describe the challenge. I am choosing to do something new! It’s helping—I’m working on getting unstuck. Yay!
I slowly and deeply breathe in and out and find my body relaxing and my mind calming.
Okay, there was a little typo in their link where they put “breath” instead of “breathe”. But I corrected it in my entry here.
I also want to affirm, conversely, that today can be a time for my DH and I to work together (we relaxed yesterday and the day before), since our schedules are hit-and-miss, on goals that we have for our future. We’ve been frustrated in the past in getting time together, but I am optimistic that today will be better than before!
I think big and allow myself to accept even more good in my life.
Yeah, you, you good big thing. Hit me! I’m ready!
I easily forgive others, knowing this allows my mind, body and emotions to relax.
Ah, I can relate to this. Sometimes people say I’m too nice. But I know the truth about niceness…there’s an element of grace, of forgiveness, that is not only good for them, it’s good for my soul as well.
I am still affirming my ability to do what I need at work, to get things done, to get caught up.
