Our home: got love?
Check.
Inventory done. (This occurred to me when I woke up this morning.)
Edit on October 24, 2008: I realize that you can’t live on love, and for insurance purposes, we need to have a list of items to replace. So I am being tongue-in-cheek. Mostly I was tired of seeing this on my main list. It’s just not in my top ten.

I feel the need to do this, to focus on it; to get our house in order.

This is going on the backburner for a couple of months.

My DH and I are discovering that we can save money by purchasing our household items and groceries among five local stores. For example, one place has the lowest price on toilet paper, another is best for the supplements that we take, and a third has the kind of frozen foods that we like.
I want to make a master shopping list for these different stores and maintain a corresponding inventory for the items on the list, so that we aren’t overstocking our limited shelf space. I’m going to do this in Excel so I can easily sort by different categories and have the inventory information with me at the stores.
It will also go towards better meal planning and hopefully fewer shopping trips.

I started one of these a few years ago, so step one would be to locate that file and edit it.
I mainly want to acknowledge the possessions in our home, to see if we can edit them and perhaps think about a smaller place wherever we land next.
