March: Easter
My DH and I enjoyed Easter.
Here’s a bit of the Easter service experience as I commented on SFL’s entry of “Easter Vigil.”
We’ve attended church services with our family members. This was new and fulfilling because we took that first step as a couple together seeking a place that suits us.

Last weekend I tried a NEW recipe using ingredients that I haven’t prepared in a soup before: cauliflower and leeks. After cooking these vegetables with seasoning and broth, the recipe instructed to put the soup in a blender.
I hadn’t blended soup before (I associate blenders with frozen concoctions—smoothies mostly) so here’s a NEW cooking technique that I tried. Well, it was astonishing! Just like fancy restaurant soup.
New, filling, fulfilling!

I’ve always wanted to do this, but never had before, so here’s the NEW experience. It’s been FULFILLING to take that step and actually do a thing on my mental list of “I always wanted to do that.”
A few months ago, I noticed that a woman at my office had started one. I didn’t know her at all. I didn’t think our paths would ever cross; however, we were in the same meeting last week! So I talked to her about the club, and I found out which book was selected for the next meeting. I got the book at the library this past Saturday. I haven’t been able to put it down since then.
The meeting to discuss the book is mid-February. Can’t wait!
