update my wardrobe

I forgot to post about my finding two pairs of very cool pants at the consignment shop a few weeks ago.

And about six weeks before that, I replaced the baggy blank pants with a pair that fit much better.

My wardrobe is getting updated, little by little.

So I’m wearing out the elbows in my shirts.

Hmph! Maybe I should tone down this goal? (Although, for what it’s worth, I’m currently off my pace to meet it.)

Anyway, I have a total of six shirts with wornout right elbows! The only thing wrong with them is the elbow. Whatta think—would it be too dorky to put a patch on the elbows? I guess they would all make cool sleeveless shirts…when I’m really ready to bare my arms.

Yesterday I found two shirts to replace the two most recent delinquents. Yay for that!

I’m generally anti-purse. I wish I could have everything I need in pockets. But I found a cool one! And it sure makes the old one look really worn out.

I needed a pair of black flip flops to go with my black-red-and-white swimsuit, so I made a point to shop for them and got them last week.

When I wear my all-black swimsuit, I wear my favorite pink flip flops.

I am feeling so color-coordinated now, even at the pool.

I didn’t realize this would bring so much joy in wearing my jeans and tucking in my shirt.

I need to add some chic pants, a few more flattering shirts that have a fresh look, and a couple of darker denim jeans.

Hey, is black the new black yet? I don’t look good when black is next to my face, but I sure like black shoes and—I want to trade my chocolate brown purse for a black one.
