i keep my piles of papers pretty tidy and organized, i have been keeping the studio quite clean too
organizing elements in my painting is something i always strive for
i cleaned my desk this morning at work which included taking everrything off my desk surface and wiping it down really well and getting rid of all the dust bunnies that build up, i think i see some as i type…organized all my loose memos and notes and put them where they are supposed to be
i am in a much more livable space now
i bought myself one of those expanding folders for some of more important documents and pieces of mail i should hold on to
i can keep my 401k info in there and anything i feel should be protected and stored for a bit
a great step in the right direction
i even put some old photos of a mural project i completed in college…black and white photos of the progress and some of the finished wall as well
cheers all
i would like to have some sort of filing system for my bills, some i pay online some i send a check for…i need to keep better track of these things…right now i throw mail on a little table and it gets jumbled with other mail
SORTSHUFFLETIDY
i spent some time in the studio last night sort of cleaning up a bit and making a space for actually working…it feels good to put things where they should go
in my studio in my apartment i try to keep like things together so i can get to them easily…i hate wasting time looking for something when i know exactly which implement i want to use whether it is a marker or pencil or paint…the bigger task is going through all the mail once a week and plan when to pay things…any ideas for organizing thoughts? i am drinking tea all the time now and that seems to help calm my mindspace
