After a hard month or so, I was finally able to make another deposite toward this goal. I’m at $496.85 so far. Not alot, but for me that’s a good start.

I am the proud owner of a 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis! This shining beauty is fully loaded with a broken air conditioner, power windows (two of which work), power locks (fancy-shmancy), and just enough rust to make it unatractive to would-be theives. This car is truly 191,000 miles of wonderful! Needless to say, I need a new ride. Two challenges (I refuse to have “problems”) which I will overcome are: 1) I don’t believe in borrowing money for cars, and 2) I don’t make alot of money. I have about $300 saved up so far, which is great! I’ve had that much and more before, though, and have had to use it to fix my current vehicle, pay taxes, etc. My challenge is to get a different car before September. We’ll see.
