I go to bed late. That’s the whole problem. This morning, though, I got up an hour earlier than normal even though I went to bed at the same time I almost always do. It’s amazing how much time I’ve had today as a result. Were I not a confirmed and avowed procrastinator, I could really have gotten some things done!

I could do more things, and do them better, if I would just go to bed at night as soon as I get home from work and get up earlier in the morning. But try as I might, I almost never get up before I have somewhere to be. If I’m working at 6 or 7 AM, I’m fine. I can get up early no problem – IF I have to. If I don’t have to work until noon, then you can bet I’m not up before 10. Of course I probably never go to bed before 2 or so. The last few hours I’m awake are so unproductive, I really might as well call it “pre-sleeping” or something like that. If I’d go to bed at 10 and get up at 5 or 5:30, life would be grand. But I just can’t make myself do it! C’mon, ME, get with the freakin’ program!
See, just put your mind to doing something and you’ll be able to achieve it! Never mind that “achieving it” means getting called in to work early :)
