Write a book and get it published

hope it’s not a false start. I outlined two ideas and started chapter one of the first story outline. I also looked at some of the “Dummies” books online to see if I can learn something about writing and getting published. I want to keep at it, not just think and talk about it. That has gotten me nowhere. I decided to “go with what you know” instead of trying to become the next Nora Roberts. Everyone has to start somewhere, and my goal is not to become a famous author, but to simply get published! Once I realized that, I stopped worrying about coming up with a fantastic story that has not been written yet, but simply writing about stuff I know and understand. I can’t wait to see it take shape!
