I’ve been reading a lot on epinions about mattress buying. I never knew it was so complex. I thought I’d just go out and find out what the consensus was on the best mattresses and away I’d go.
But check out all the mattress buying guides at epionions.
(http://www.epinions.com/hmgd-topic-How_to_Buy_a_Mattress) Wow!
Luckily, the June 2005 issue of Consumer Reports has a lot of reviews on mattresses. I’m going out now to buy it.

Whether you are a millionaire or a pauper, one of the most important and pleasurable things is a good night’s sleep. When I was thinking about how to live well without succumbing to the rampant consurerism or or the pursuit of status, I started thinking about those things that have the most effect on us as human beings that might not have much to do with money. High on that list is sleeping.
To that end, I resolved to pursue the best sleeping experience possible. I’ve set aside $3000 to find a great bed and some outstanding pillows. Maybe even 3 or 4 comfortable sheets and comforters. For that amount of money, I can sleep as well as Bill Gates does.
