that it’s helpful to sleep to turn off screens (computer/smartphone/TV) at least 2 hours before bedtime. Last night I did watch TV till 10, but then did some work from a book till 11:30.
Part of this strategy is not watching NewsNight, which can be overly stress-inducing that close to bedtime anyway.
As for my favourite sweaty 10 pm shows like Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Mock the Week, I’ll just have to tape them and watch them at a more suitable time of day. (Don’t worry, there are no impressionable kids here.)
