Canadian Thanksgiving – An unexpected celebration yesterday. The restaurant we planned to go to was closed, so we went to a Moroccan place I have been to once before and have been meaning to take C to. Not traditional, but yum!

Halloween – Ugggh. Plans are all up in the air now. Originally it was Halloween & Run for the Cure. Now camping is on the table. Which I would love to do, but was so looking forward to that race and am not happy about backing out. :( Took a think break rather than react. Now just need to make a decision. Kind of ASAP at this point. Still no costumes, and not that enthusiastic. Not my favorite holiday, but I need a costume for work no matter what, so I don’t just get off the hook.

Thanksgiving is on. :)

Christmas is probably on too. Just have to let my parents know I’ve invited a guest.

Whew. Guess this relationship is really happening. LOL

and the holiday season is approaching. How did that happen?

First is Halloween. My bf and I did some costume brainstorming yesterday but didn’t really decide what we’re doing. Will need to get this sorted out soon so as not to be last minute as usual. And figure out what we’re actually doing that weekend.

Then we get into the heavy family holidays. Between my bf’s holiday phobia and the fact that this is our first holiday season together, I’ve been treading carefully. :) But we’re getting close now and will need to figure this out. He’s invited me home with him for Thanksgiving but nothing further has been done about it (that I know of anyway). Nothing has been said about Christmas, probably because I haven’t said anything and it’s obviously for me to say something here but I’ve been hesitating because subjecting him to Christmas at my family’s house sounds like the ultimate torture in terms of an introduction to my family (long story) but anyway, uggghhh, should probably discuss this. My friend S has invited me to Bogota, which would be fun. But should probably head home, I don’t see my family enough as it is and I feel bad, although I’m perfectly happy with the distance, to be honest.
