get a job

Well, after two weeks of no job after I got one and quit because my daughter went to work and someone had to stay home to watch her kids and then she worked one day and quit, I was back to square one. So, I decided to go look for a job and told myself I wasn’t coming home until I got one, well I got one. I like the job and I like the people so now I am good to go.

Wouldn’t you know it. I turned down the job all together because my daughter got a job at the same place and if she was going to go to work, someone(me) had to watch her kids(my grand kids). Then she worked one day and decided the job wasn’t for her and she quit…go figure. So, I’m back where I started looking for another job.

Well, they called me Friday with a placement, but, the distance was too far for me. The job I have is Home Health Care and I need something within my range. I’ll keep trying.

Well, while I was searching for another job, the one that I had applied to previously, had a 2nd interview with & had taken a drug test for, called me for orientation Thursday…I got the job!! Yeah!

Never got that phone call. Time to go check out a couple of more job leads. Can’t sit around and wait.

What I thought was a second interview turned out to be getting a drug test. Then she said all that’s left is checking references, and if all goes well, I go in for orientation next week. Guess that means I got the job…I’m smiling!!! YEAH!!

I’m going in for my 2nd interview today…Yeah!!!

Went to a place I used to work several years ago. Put in my application and had an interview. They’re gonna do a background check & check references and if all goes well I’ll go in for a second interview…YEAH!

My daughter & I are going job searching tomorrow (5/2). Already have several leads.
