Have an Entertainment Center

I’ve now got some lovely new Logitech Z-5500 speakers hooked up to my PS2 and TV (picture). I’m waiting for the digital converter thingy for the Xbox to arrive, and I need to mount the speakers on the wall.

I now have the PS2, Xbox and subwoofer on shelves next to the TV. The power adapter sits underneath, and I’ve got a nice bias light shining behind the TV to take the strain off the eyes!

I hooked up my Altec Lansing ADA-305s to the TV, so now I have a subwoofer, but they buzz unless the wires are positioned just right.

I thought it was from living right next to 3 TV/radio towers, but now I live 3 blocks farther away, so the intensity should be much less. I still get the same buzz, so I’m thinking its the speakers.

On Sunday I moved my TV downstairs, along with our two comfy chairs.

I still need to rebuild my internet gateway box (eventually into a toaster-like case that can run nearly silent) and get some killer speakers, like the Logitech z680 set (because I’m too poor to get a real reciever right now).
