go to more exhibitions

A friend told me about a Mark Rothko exhibition on in Tel Aviv at the moment and I checked out his stuff on the internet, but I dunno… It didn’t really do anything for me and I don’t want to go to an exhibition just for the sake of going to an exhibition. I want to go and see something that really appeals to me. Ah well, come July I’ll be in London and there’ll be plenty more options there.

I’ve been living in Israel for more than four years and I think I’ve been to one art exhibition since I’ve been here. I’ve often felt held back from doing things I want to do here because I’m less sure of what’s going on, or how to find out, or of where things are. It’s silly. I’m going to start checking out which exhibitions are happening here once a month and going to the ones that sound good. I’ve found a couple of websites which have this kind of information and the Tel Aviv museum usually has something going on.
