ride my horse more

I had to put Flame into training because of my pregnancy. This is completely fine with me, because all the dirty work gets done for me and I’ll be able to have a fantastic horse to ride in the fall.

Flame has been here with me in Canada for a year and a half. I do not ride as much as he deserves nor as much as I would like to. It’s pure laziness, and it shows in both of us. He’s a bit batty, ok a LOT batty. I recently found a picture of him from 6 years ago where I was sitting on him bareback, with my 2 year old cousin in front of me; the thought of even trying to get on him with a saddle right now is terrifying because he’s higher than a kite. We will get through this though.
