I got a Roomba instead… this way I can be lazy and still vacuum. The problem is, you have to clean the vacuum itself all of the time. It’s still fun though, makes me feel like a Jetson.

I went out to find a good vacuum but I think my heart is set on a Dyson. The problem is, the cheapest one they have is $350 and it has a bunch of stuff I don’t need. It also looks complicated to take apart and put back together. I tried to take the model at the store apart but I kept getting strange looks from the Target employees.
The rest of my apt is doing okay, I organized all of my papers but for some reason I keep getting little squirrel stacks of papers everywhere. The bathroom and kitchen seem to get messy right after I clean them too. This has a lot to do w/ the fact that I just throw stuff wherever while I’m getting ready to go somewhere. I REALLY need to follow my other goal and minimize my possessions or this will be a daunting task to finish.
Everything needs to be organized or thrown away. I need to scrub everything down, make everything sparkle and not get distracted while I do it. I started on this last night, I cleaned all of the areas that I normally don’t get to (closets, nooks and crannies). I also took the big stack of papers that I had next to my bookshelf and stacked it into related piles. I am going to get a file caddy tonight and file everything. A big file caddy :). I know that if I can get everything under control and organized that will help me organize my time better.
eBay the things I don’t need that may be worth something, throw away the things that aren’t worth anything. Get new sheets/silverware/dishes. Clean the Carpets, scrub the floors, organize everything.
