See: ‘decide what I’m going to do with my pending Journalism career’

I hear all these stories about the perks of being a music journalist, but how financially unrewarding it is. Just today, my Media & Government professor was explaining to the class that he was a rock music critic before he got involved with politics. I want to be able to find a balance between the two. I don’t want to just write. I want to be a part of the production, and change the way music is promoted in general.

If I had the choice and the proper funds, I would create my own music magazine that would be in direct competition with Alternative Press. Mm, one can dream.
