Well, I’ve started. I found online videos at http://www.knittinghelp.com/ and I’m attempting to learn continental knitting rather than left-handed knitting. Seems to be going okay, but I’ve only learned the knit stich and casting on so far… long way to go!

Being left-handed does not make this easy.
My evil Home Economics teacher insisted I learn to knit right-handed when I was at school, but I struggled and struggled and kept forgetting how.
My mum is a right-handed knitter, my nana is left-handed but was forced to knit right-handed so neither has managed to teach me, I’ve attempted to use mirrors to follow standard instructions and more recently I’ve tried to follow left-handed instructions on websites, but I’m still struggling.
I must set aside some time to try this again. I’ll get there eventually.
