All cables correct and plugged into the right places. Test worked. Now to start transferring. Will I work through alphabetically? Will I record whole LPs or just my favourite tracks?

My collection 3 years ago

dates from the middle 1970s to whenever they stopped making LPs.
I still have my turntable but rarely play records. I want to convert at least all my favourite tracks to MP3 so that I can access them more easily.

I need to work out what I need to hook my amp up to my laptop.
