Achieving my goals 2 years ago

I had a funny feeling a few days back… It was if my head was really clear and I could finally see the truth…as if I could at any given point decide whether to be an optimist or a pessimist. It was strange… I could see SO CLEARLY that it’s up to me to choose if I wanted to be happy and think of happy things or to think about bad things and feel bad all the time… weird.
Anyway, the self dev newsletter says:

  • I am a winner.
  • I deserving to have the very best that life has to offer.
  • I always succeed.
  • I attract those who can assist me in reaching my goals.
  • I am destined for great things.
  • I now set and easily achieve my goals.
  • I am open to receive help with my goals.
  • I am divinely guided towards attaining my goals.
  • I envisage only that which I desire to have come into my life.
  • I am open to receive.

intuition 2 years ago

i m having this issue with my intuition. i want to listen to my inner voice but sometimes it`s difficult to hear it with all the mess in my mind… so it`s no wonder my affirmations newsletter sent these affirmations:

  • As I trust my intuition I feel powerful and alive.
  • I listen to my intuition and make choices based on how I feel.
  • I trust and act upon the messages from within.
  • I am in the process of trusting my inner wisdom.
  • I take time out to be quiet and listen to my inner guidance.
  • I am a radiant being filled with light and love.
  • Today I choose to be on my path.
  • Today I allow others to be who they are.
  • My true self loves me and guides me in all ways.
  • I now choose to live in the moment.

i m thinking of making some nice cards and placing them all over the flat so i see them often & accept the messages subconsciously. that would combine nicely with my goal to draw more… :)

"i love my hair" 2 years ago

that’s the title of this cute little pink book, which is supposed to make women feel better about ourselves.
it’s really nice.
really :)

it’s wonderful and it says you have to do things, complete certain tasks, in order to feel amazing.

the first task you have to do is draw your hair. it’s amazing how you develop love and understanding about your hair, just by drawing it. hmmm, perhaps i should continue and draw the body parts i’m not too happy about ;) although, i am quite grateful my body works well, and i don’t really dislike any part of it. i love my cellulite and my wrinkles and… and i want to give my body everything it needs in order to stay happy and healthy :) (ok, carrots it is!)

the next thing to do is write down the thing that upsets you and than draw circles around it. it seems weird at first, but it’s so liberating! it’s like you’re putting a sort of fence around the issue and you realise it has no power over you. it’s locked inside many many circles and it can’t touch you!

the third thing to do (if i remember correctly) is to write down the things you’re good at. when i took a course in reality therapy, i also had to do this exercise. it’s wonderful and i learned to respect myself for all the things a can do well. and there are many!

i recommend everyone to try and do these exercises, they are uplifting and encourage love and respect for oneself. and that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?

i love my hair!

p.s. you can look inside this book on amazon.com :)

Maryanne Williamson quote, SO POWERFUL !!!! 3 years ago

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most.

We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in all of us.

And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Used by Nelson Mandela in his 1994 inaugural speech
