In the last Christmas sales I spent an absolute fortune at Oasis, Monsoon and River Island, they had fantastic sales so it was totally worth while. Got some very glam items. Didn’t buy that much in the summer sales as I am topping up my savings at the moment.
Think I can mark this off as achieved although it will certainly be an ongoing process, keeping my look updated!
Bought some lovely items in the sale, two tops, a black skirt, a bra, knickers and a gorgeous black handbag. Very pleased! I just need to find myself a ball gown now….
I have also been going through all my clothing and I have put aside four large bags full of clothes that I no longer want/need. I will drop them off at the charity shop this weekend…..
Bought some beautiful jerseys from Jane Norman in the sales, as well as some long grey gloves, a striped grey scarf and a bright pink scarf. About four pairs of trousers, nice winter ones and two pairs of shoes – brown trouser boots and green mary-jane types, very funky and glam at the same time. Keep getting compliments on them so I am pleased!
Just need to pin the trousers and get them shortened. My friend at work says she will do them for me for free! I will take her out for lunch though.
Got my trousers back from my Mom – she is a star!! She couldn’t thread her sewing maching, so she sewed my jeans and the trousers by hand! Isn’t she fantastic?!!
Anyway, I have yet to tidy my chest of drawers and get a shoe rack. My goal is to tidy my drawers this weekend and I shall mention to my boyfriend that I would like to get a shoe rack. I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to show me where he got his. I may have to get several!!!
In relation to my other goal – to lose five kilo’s (well it should be 8 kilos actually) – if I manage to do this, it will open up a huge part of my wardrobe that I could wear again! I have some lovely trousers, and, although I can JUST fit into them, they are too tight and uncomfortable and don’t look so good on me. So that’s motivation for me to lose weight. I will be able to wear more of my clothes! WEEE!!!
I am also going to do some ironing this weekend – want to be prepared and looking my best when I go out and when I’m at work!
My Mom is now taking up my pale green linen trousers, my pink linen trousers and my Miss Sixty jeans. Hopefully she’ll have them completed by Thursday when I should get them. WEEE!
Also waiting on my new wedges and a handbag which should come soon in the post.
Need to go through my cupboards and see what needs to be culled. Also need to look into getting a shoe stand and getting rid of some old shoes. Must tidy up chest of drawers as well.
Have not even pinned my new trousers yet, arrgghhh! Keep putting it off, procrastination! I need to pull myself together!
Bought a gorgeous pair of red high heels on Saturday, they look so sexy! I can’t wait for an opportunity to wear them. YAY!
Have been continuously going on eBay, searching for high quality clothing and accessories to improve my wardrobe without dipping into my nestegg – got to focus on my goals of buying a property with my parents and increasing my savings!
Am looking at Faith shoes, Per Una, Monsoon, River Island, Elle MacPherson Intimates, Lulu Guinness, Oasis, etc, etc. So far so good, my summer wardrobe is improving, but it’s the winter wardrobe that really needs major improvement. My two winter coats from last year have been tossed as they are starting to look threadbare. So, on the hunt for some winter coats. A black one and a chocolate brown one and perhaps a red one would do nicely….and a cream one…okay, now I am getting greedy!
Have been procrastinating (as per usual) in getting two pairs of trousers and one pair of jeans hems taken up, so I am going to do this tonight – I must!
