finally live in a place with a yard! 2 years ago

Planting season is approaching. I’m glad I live somewhere with a yard now! I’m not sure what the landscaping looks like though. I’m not sure if I should semi-blindly plant roses or if I should wait a year and get a better sense of the landscaping.
