I have a hypothesis of why it has been difficult for me to get through the mirror. When I have been lucid in a dream and tried to cross through the mirror I have always felt that I was being pushed back. The image of myself in the mirror is always pushing against me.
Today I broke through the mirror. When I started feeling my image push back against me I looked down and leaned forward and went through the mirror. Going through the mirror was anticlimactic. So where did I go? In my dream I ended up in my bedroom. I feel a bit cheated because if I wanted to be in my bedroom I could have just woken up.

I was lucid last night and I created a mirror during one of my dreams. I was able to put a forearm through the mirror but when I tried to step through I felt like I was being pushed backwards.

I was lucid during a dream yesterday. I didn’t remember to conjure a mirror to jump through. When I awoke I didn’t remember to record my dream.
The only detail that I recall about this dream is that I became lucid after trying to read out the words spelled on a Scrabble board. I know that trying to read is a good reality check for me. Shortly after becoming lucid I began to wonder if I was still dreaming or if I had awoken and was merely daydreaming. I don’t mean to wake myself when I become lucid but I think it has happened a few times.

Well I still haven’t been able to complete this thing yet. Perhaps I should not have made it a personal requirement to go through a mirror during a lucid dream. I heard that it is difficult to find things in your dreams and that you can spend entire dreams looking for something specific like a mirror. Instead of trying to find a mirror to go through I’ll try to conjure one. The closest I’ve gotten to going through a mirror was jumping through a lake. I haven’t been good at remembering dreams lately. I still record them when I do remember.

I used a reality check today to help me recognize that I was dreaming. Some things didn’t appear right – I was in a house with an upstairs area similar to where I live now but the downstairs area was like my parents’ place. I was moving a large box around and I tried reading the text on the side. The text didn’t spell out any words I recognized or remembered but the text changed when I did a double take.
I hadn’t planned on anything specific to do while lucid dreaming and the only thing that came to mind was to float/levitate. I got too close to the ceiling which startled me and I think I woke up. But then later I awoke from another dream so I’m not sure if I had a false awaking or actually woke up and fell back asleep without remembering it clearly.
I’m going to have and remember two or three more lucent dreams before marking this thing as done. Next time I have a lucent dream I’m going to jump through a mirror.

Since I adopted this goal and read excerpts from http://www.ld4all.com/ I am remembering some of my dreams when I wake. I need to start a dream journal and start working on a reality check.
