Housebreak Roger

Roger is making progress with this one. He learned how to hold it and also how to tell us that he needs to go outside. Slow and steady wins the race.

Roger keeps crapping on the floor. I don’t even want to talk about how this one is going.

I am happy to report that Roger has started barking and warning us when he needs to go outside! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Roger is slowly getting better with this. We just have to keep a close eye on him. He pooped on the floor twice and peed once yesterday but those were the first accidents in awhile. Pugs take a long time to housebreak. I’m up for it. He’s just now learning to take a walk down the street on a leash without choking himself. He can sit on command, which is smart considering how young he is. I love him. I just need to have patience.

I think he’s getting a little better. He still poops on the floor for no reason. I just have to remember that he’s still little and I need to be patient with him.

He’s over his sickness but he has that pee-when-excited problem. For the most part, he’s a good little guy!

We took Roger to the vet today and they gave him all his necessary shots. We got a puppy pack filled with info and the vet said he did well. They gave him medicines for his diarrhea so we are on the right track. He’s a good little guy :)

Roger had diarrhea today and yesterday. If it keeps up, we’re going to take him to the vet. It’s not making this goal any easier.

We’ve been working really hard to housebreak Roger but he still has some accidents. He’s still a puppy so I can’t expect miracles yet. He is a good dog for the most part though. We need to get him to stop biting too.
