I think I will be like a nomad. I will just take a backpack of stuff wherever I go, and a little cash in case of emergency. I will go somewhere, make a simple shelter such as a tent, small cob shelter, etc. I will live off the land. I will visit the local communities and make friends and learn about cultures (I will not be a recluse). Then I will travel on foot to another place. I might even travel with a group of other people like me.
What do you think? Would this be practical?

I’ve decided that I am leaving on April 20, 2013. That’s 3 days after I turn 18. I’ll be free! :)

I still have to wait a couple of years before I can go, and it’s killing me! Every day my desire grows and grows and I can’t stand it..

I’m getting to the point where I can’t stand this place. I belong anywhere but here. I hate that I see people and wonder why they are striving after the wind, so to speak. What are they doing it for? They’re looking for better social status, better jobs, more money, better houses, better spouses, etc. Why can’t they be satisfied? Why can’t they see they are overlooking the truly precious things in life?
