buy a stranger something from their Amazon wishlist every month

Whether it was a one-time thing or I decide to do this monthly remains to be seen (this is just one of the ways I am spreading the love). But either way I’m calling this one done for me. Thanks for the inspiration!

I sent a book ‘The Single Truth’ to a Samantha in WV. I also included a note explaining why she’s getting a book from a total stranger :)

I had given up on this goal (see last entry), but I’m glad I tried again. It’s worth the effort. This is awesome!

This is a great idea, but … the wish list search on Amazon only allows you to search by name or email. So you have to choose a random name. Then you have to go through one by one trying to find someone with that name who has updated their list recently and has things on it that you want to buy and can afford.

I wish you could start with a product (a favorite movie or book) and go to a list of people who have that on their wish list. I also wish you could sort by most recently updated lists. It’s hard to find one that has been touched lately.
