draw more

I will feel like I have succeeded in this goal if I buy an artbook and make 12 drawings/painting. One must be a selfportrait. After that, I will reevaluate my goal.

OK, so to do this, I guess I better get an artbook. I don’t want anything too big. Maybe like a journal with nice art paper. I want to be able to paint in it and draw with oil pastels and watercolors. Maybe for me this is not just about drawing but about being more artistic in general. I used oil pastels this week in my daugher’s coloring book! We colored together. I colored big-bird. I hardly think that counts. But it was fun to use the oil pastels instead of crayons! I really need to get a real art book.

Well, I drew something recently. Yea! I think in order to encourage this more, I will buy an artbook.
