wear makeup regularly

When I grew up, my mother didn’t really want me to wear make-up, she doesn’t think women should feel obligated to wear make-up (and I agree), but moisturizer with sunblock is a good idea. Since I want to do that, the make-up is just adding on to that step. I think I look better with make-up. That is all that really matters. I’m not doing it for anyone but me. That is what makes it work. This may be a phase, and I may stop wearing make-up again some day, but for now, I like it and I am glad I am wearing it regularly. I feel better looking.

I have been wearing make-up regularly for a while now, so I will say it is a completed goal. The box made all the difference. If I fall off the wagon, I will add it back…..

If I keep this up for a while longer, I will delete it and only put it back if I fall out of the habit. I will delete this in November if I continue this. So far it has been easy to do since I have the box.

Well, I am on the right track. So far, it has not been a problem wearing make-up daily. It is so much easier now. I take a shower, apply moisturizer, brush my teeth (so the moisturizer can be absorbed), open box, apply a little make-up… Yea! I think I will meet this goal this month. Less is more.

so, I don’t have much make-up, which is fine. I hope this motivates me, now that I don’t have to dig through that terrible little bag!

OK, so, I bought the box, it is in the bathroom and set up. I was really hoping for a much smaller box, but I found this at a garage sale for $1.50. I guess I will put hair stuff in the bottom for my daughter or something. But it has all the compartments I wanted. It looks better than a tackle box would! lol. Let’s see how this works… I’ll let you know.

Well, I have been looking, and there are some clear small tackle boxes that have compartments, but I haven’t found the right one yet. I am keeping my eye out for one. I plan to have make-up in the tackle box in the bathroom either in a drawer or on a shelf and the little bag in my purse. That way it is available in the morning after I apply my moisturizer without having to find my purse and dig through that horrible little bag. It is such a big deterent for me.

I will have succeeded with this goal when I wear make-up daily for a month. (at least, moisturizer, conceiler, lipstick, blush and mascara)

so far I am moisturizing every day, and that is a good start. I think if I organize my make-up I will be more likely to use it. I want a make up organizer, not just a bag I have to dig through. I want a special box or bag with a little compartment for each item (lipstick goes here, mascara there, etc.) That would really help me. The biggest deterant for me is having to dig through a bag to find each item. Maybe I should buy a box with little spaces in it? And put the little bag of makeup in my purse….
