get married

don’t know if he loves me (he’s not the expressive kind), but we’ve been together for a year and he makes me happy and we seem to follow the rules I set up for myself a few years ago…we’re together because we want to be together, because we’re happy and because we make each other better people and honestly that’s all that really matters, althoug a little bit of expression would be nice ;-)

it’s not that I don’t want to get married…I’m just not sure I believe in it. So often people get caught up in the idea of needing to be married and then after being together for years,they finally get married and their relationship falls apart. I’m not saying marriage is what did it, but I think names and titles make relationships complicated and when I fall in love, I want to be with that person and have that person be with me b/c we love each other and can’t be without each other, not because our title says we’re dating or married or whatever…

that should be the title of this goal, b/c in order to get married, i need to actually have a boyfriend…and since i don’t know how ready i am to settle, i guess we’ll put this goal on the backburner for now. in the end we all want to get married, settle and have a family…or do we…maybe not settle, but find happiness and if that happens to be with a soulmate that i marry, then that’ll be just great.
